How did it all start?

Meet Maya and Milena, beautiful souls from Mexico and Bolivia who crossed paths in Calgary in 2018 through the Latin American art community.

They had no idea their artistic journeys would soon be so hilariously entwined!
What started with tequilas, ponchos, and plenty of laughs quickly turned into a colourful adventure filled with art, community building, nature exploration, and, of course, tons of fun.

Together, they’ve added a splash of salsa to every canvas and community event, infusing them with their fiesta-inspired creativity. Maya and Milena are here to spice up life—one paint stroke and dance move at a time!

Hola! Soy Milena, and with my camera in hand, I hunt for fantastic landscapes, moments, and visions to share with nature lovers. I also map green areas around my home in Calgary, Alberta.

The images I collect are poetical, timeless, and romantic. They capture sacred moments: the union between the artist and nature.

Hola! I'm Maya, a visual artist and muralist who loves painting with bold, vibrant colours that evoke freedom and joy.

I paint intuitively, letting my emotions guide my brushstrokes. My work is inspired by strong women, nature, and the energy of everyday life. Each piece tells a story—sometimes playful, sometimes deep, but always full of movement and color.
